This line and the lines below represent your Page Content. In the actual page(s) it would be immediately below the heading section. Text you supply can be in either Microsoft Word format or Rich Text File 'rtf' format. Most word processors can supply one or both types of these documents. Images can be in any format, although jpeg/jpg's and gif's are preferred. The following lines are notes on how to use the form above to customise the pages. This is the text and title in the upper section, it does not include the navigation links. Text colour in the navigation area is not changeable. It keep to the standard usage with unvisited pages showing blue and visited pages showing purple. This is the background colour for the the upper section, it does not include the navigation links. A good contrast between text and background helps readability. This is the background colour for the navigation links. White or a pastel colour is recommended for best contrast with the links. Note that the text colour of a link shows if that has been been visited or not. Purple means the page has already by viewed and blue means the page has not been viewed. Its poor practise to change these colours as it can potentially confuse. There are three sets of font controls. Two for the heading area and the last for content:-
Affects the + or - controls, the step size (or increment) is multiplied by 5 if the x5 button is checked. Leave it blank to use the current logo with your site name displayed on mouse over. If you are curious what the logo is - its not from Star Gate SG1. It is a real photo of the spire of St Mary Redcliffe Church in Bristol, UK. Squashed and with an inverted copy added below. If you want your own logo, use browse to select a jpg or gif image file from your hard disk. Take care with large photo's as they may take leave insufficient room for the title. If you have the image but want it resized, clipped, compressed (to make the page load quicker) or otherwise adjusted. E-mail for help on images. A maximum of 80 characters including spaces per page. This is the large title at the top of the page. The text also appears in the navigation bar on all of the linked pages. While upto 26 pages can be used with this template. The Design is better suited to less than the full 26. See the Home Page for an example. If you don't want all 26, just enter the names of the pages you want, if you accidentally supply more attached pages than page titles (or vice versa) we will contact you to clarify, before quoting. To help users with the keyboard shortcuts you may wish to leave a reference to the page letter in the page name. For search engine purposes a short two to eight word sentence or phrase is best, short and meaningful for human visitors though.
To check entries see the navigation panel on the left hand side. You can also click on the entry in the navigation panel to pull in the page title and amended it. Everything below the header bar.
